Try The Road by Cormac Mc Carthy. It is absolutely brilliant. It is a must read for anyone who loves good literature. Pax- C

slaughter house five, the sirens of titan, the breakfast of champions, cats cradle, all by Kurt Vonnegut. they are written by a man that saw things through an anthropological lens. and he had the most humorous perspective about man and life as a whole. try these books they are classics.

    Here are some:

Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, and a short review of each book.

    I hope this helps.

I read all kinds of books and these are the ones I’ve read lately:
The Weight of Water by Anita Shreve
The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory
Gospel of Judas by Simon Mawer
Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony by Eoin Colfer
The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly
The Woodsman’s Daughter by Gwyn Hyman Rubio
    Gone by Jonathan Kellerman

Some are not great pieces of literature but they are fun to read.

I find 60s and 70s authors particularly interesting, like Anne Maybury, Jill Tattersall, Mary Stewart, Evelyn Anthony.
