well if u at least have an idea about the plots like the events, the evil characters, the good ones, the main characters, conflicts, then u will be fine:)

Watch the first 5 movies or read the books, then watch the sixth.
The 6th movie is bad enough even if you’ve read the books.
I can’t imagine what it’s like for someone who hasn’t even read the book, much less hasn’t even seen the previous movies.

Not really. You can just watch the 6th movie for fun and excitement. But if you want to understand the movie, read the books and watch the movies.
If you’ve read the books there will be no problem; if you haven’t, I would recommend seeing the other movies first. Although, if you haven’t read the books, you really won’t get as much out of the movies as you otherwise would. The books are fantastic, so if you haven’t read them, read them!!!!!
