Which is the best music institution to go to for classical pianists?

You are unfortunately many years too late. Really gifted pianists would have been studying at the Royal College or Royal Academy in London from a young age. A degree from a polytechnic counts for nothing.

My friend attended the royal school of music [next to the royal albert hall}. he came out with top marks and is teaching music,
