you can buy those mini vidio cams that will fit in your palm,and buy a 2 gig memery card ,total on sale about 125 bucks…get a 6 mg pixal for best vidio
I’m a film student. My second year of college I had the same question as you. I was able to save up some money and with my brother purchase a Panasonic DVX100a. We got it on ebay for $2300 used w/accessories. The reason it is GREAT for film students is that it gives you the option to film in 24 FPS. If you know anything about film then you know why this is important. And it’s true 24p, not fake mimic style like some other cameras. You can get truly amazing results if you learn how to use the camera and can master light and shadow.
