i wouldn’t go around listening to sappy music that is for sure….i always listen to happy stuff when my hubs is deployed!

I always loved Sittin on The Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding. Manly because they played it in the movie Top Gun! Also, California Dreamin is a cool song. I always heard it was written about a guy in the Navy thinking about going home.

Listen to the same stuff you were listening to when he was at home. He would want to know that you are living as close to a normal life as possible even though he’s not there. Don’t go overboard with anything–the exception being writing emails and letters to him and sending care packages.
