What is a good, comprehensive book about the French Revolution?

I have The Oxford History of the French Revolution by William Doyle. It was the main text for a college history course I took years ago. The ISBN is 0-19-285221-3.

It’s a bit dense (over 400 pages) and doesn’t have much in the way of illustrations, but that’s what I have.
