You could give them to your school. My middle school son is such an avid reader, he says he has read everything in his school library.
The county library is a good idea too. I know you said you want to help youths, but many youths can’t afford books. Our local library sells some of its book donations for as little as 50 cents for a paperback. All monies go to the library, and a kid who loves to read gets a good book cheap.
I really think that these ideas are better than a youth group, because most youth organizations are focusing on active activities that assist social and physical development.
I don’t know if you in Philadelphia have library’s but in canada we have something called library’s and you can donate books there !
