What mood does a piece of music create when it plays an ascending sequence?

This is quite a subjective question. Why dont’ you just tthink about the music yourself when you play it and identify your own response to it. It’s going to be as accurate as anyone else’s and it’s probably better since we have no idea what the notes are.

Part of the answer depends on the modality of the piece. I would say that if it is in a minor mode it would sound agitated, but if it is major it would be more frolic like.
