If you like Thrillers, then you’ll like The Righteous Men by Sam Bourne. I found it a very good book, and one i couldn’t put down. It does start a bit slowly though, but after the first like 50 pages, it is awesome.
For historical fiction with amazing detail, blood, suspense and eye-popping violence, try anything written by Bernard Cronewell. His character Sharkey came in a long series that my husband and I read, then all his friends read. They are astounding.
There is always Robert Ludlum, the master, for modern spy novels through the 1990s. You may know one of his characters, ‘Jason Bourne.’
