I’m not sure about that, but I do know that Abbott and Costello war films such as Buck Privates were shown to soldiers from Germany with the message that all soldiers on our side were like that (dumb and bumbling)

He didn’t have brainwashing films. He never truly brainwashed people like we like to think in the movies, where people totally forget ideals and whatnot.

The closest thing to what you’re looking for is a propaganda film called Triumph of the Will by a German female director named Leni Riefenstahl. Despite the film glorifying one of the worst regimes to exist in history, the film as piece of work itself tends to rank very high as a great piece of propaganda. The film itself has won numerous awards. This film helped the **** Party to capitalize and grow support from many Germans.

Hitler was very charismatic despite being evil and he showed strength to Germany, which the country had very little of after the first World War.

All I have ever seen from Hitler’s early years were Propaganda films.
Nothing that could be interpreted as Brainwashing.
Maybe one could consider them the the same.
