make sure you are opening it from the VIDEO application. Then look for your memory stick icon and press triangle. On the right side of the screen an option will appear to Display All. Select that option. Make sure your video is in correct format too (mpeg, mp4 or divx).
highlight the memorystick/usb stick when it shows up on top of video menu then press triangle on it and select display all, then u should be able to see everything thats playable on the memory stick. if the video ur looking for comes up as corrupted data then it means that video format dont work on ps3.
