1. Any books by Malcolm Gladwell.
2. Proust Was a Neuroscientist by Jonah Lehrer

I would suggest subscribing to Scientific American Mind. It is popularly written, so it gives you a lot the most up to date information without too much technical detail.
If you want to do some audio books on Psychology, I would suggest Audible. They have the best selection of audiobooks on the internet with a considerable number in Psychology.
