you can WRITE music, lyrics or instrumentals, whatever. but i think in your case songwriting would be cool.
record labels..hmm im not so sure about what you can do there, i’ll let you know when i finally get the chance to record in album (haha), but no just google that one.
or you can be a dj..? music critic. cd store owner.
don’t give up on some musical career. whatever it is…goodluck.
There are lots of options for you! For school I would look into a music management degree (yup, they exsist!) and this would lead you to a job in as a music manager, perhaps a music supervisor (they shop out music to be put with movies and commercials), how about working directly in the movie biz being the person that is pairing the music with the fim, perhaps you could be an AnR person that hunts out new talent, what about being someone who grooms acts to being all that they can be? There are LOADS of jobs for people that are not the ‘talent’ side of the music! Those are generally the people that make the money too lol! Here’s a handy little article all about it and lots more information can be found on google
it might be helpful to learn an instrument but it is not necessary
you could right music – if you want to right music you would need to be able to sing to other people – you don’t need to be able to sing well, just be able to sing so other people are able to hear the beat and the rhythm to which the words are said to
(basically if someone asked you to sing you would)
for example how well do you think Louis Walsh can sing; that never stopped him though
you could become a famous music producer
promote singers
