How do I put different music on 2 different iPods using the same computer?

Start iTunes
Go to Preferences and select Manual updates.
(the default is automatic). This way you manualy drag and drop what music you want on each iPod

when you plug each ipod into the computer on itunes you can call them different names and they will keep these for the next time you plug them in

You can go to and see the section about managing two ipods on the same computer the section is title ((Shax writes, I have two Ipod Nano. The first one was already registered into the PC…..)) they provide instruction on do manage both on the same computer and have different music on both you can get ipod downloads too the site provides ipod download sites you can use
